We’ve recently made a change to our core working hours to provide our colleagues with greater flexibility – and be more available for our customers.

As of May 2022, our colleagues’ core hours will change to 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to midday on Friday.

Either side of these times, they will be able to make up the remainder of their working hours as they prefer. Their lunch breaks will be more flexible too!

Some of our colleagues prefer to work later in the day, whilst others have family commitments best served by an early start. Either way, the flexibility will also result in greater responsiveness for customers contacting us earlier or later in the working day.

Recent events have taught us all the importance of flexibility and maintaining an appropriate work/life balance to encourage good mental health.

In our experience, greater freedoms lead to an even more attentive and motivated team – raising productivity and maintaining even higher standards of quality.

As the cost-of-living rises, this flexibility is another way to reward our excellent team and attract the very best talent to Chell Instruments.

Customers calling outside our core hours can still expect excellent service and any messages left out of hours will be actioned as soon as possible.
