Chell Staff Events: Shooting Day Out & Pups Day In

We’ve had some exciting team building events happening at Chell in the recent months! There’s always something going on to encourage a happy work environment and bring our team of Chell engineers, calibrators, administrators, producers and sales staff together.

This past year Chell employees went on an exciting shooting day. Around 25 participants came to the staff day out, many of which had never been involved in something like this before. The winner of the day was new recruit and Software Engineer Jordan Barker who was a first time ever shooter. Coming in joint second were experienced shots Matt Clements and Mark Gibbons with Jamie Shanahan, another newbie to the sport, rounding out the third. A great day out was had by all, but the experienced competitors may have been a tad envious of some of the staff’s beginners luck!

On 21 June Chell staff also participated in Bring Your Dog to Work Day. Established in 2014 Bring Your Dog to Work Day is an annual nationwide event that raises money for charities dedicated to making a difference to the welfare of dogs. Chell staff brought their furry friends in, the tall and the small, to enjoy the day with their owners. There are a lot of positive benefits to the Bring Your Dog to Work Day including increased productivity and wellbeing as well as reduced stress levels within the work place. We had a great turn out of pups this year and everyone enjoyed the doggy friendly day. We’re already looking forward to next years event!
