Pressure Equivalence
Chell have refined a method of deadweight tester calibration utilising a series of high accuracy pressure transfer standards. This enables us to offer impressive sub 50 ppm uncertainties on general purpose deadweight tester calibrations very economically and with fast turnaround.
Effective Area
Chell provides a viable and cost effective calibration alternative for customers who previously have seen National Standards Laboratories such as NPL and NIST as the only facility for the calibration of their pneumatic pressure balances.
We are unique in Europe for our ability to perform cross-floating over certain pressure ranges against our two Schwien Mercomaster Manometers, which enables us to pass on cost savings and faster turnaround times to our customers. We also supply full certification with each calibration including a graphical indication of effective area vs applied pressure.
We specialise in the calibration of Bell & Howell (CEC), Ruska, Pressurements & DH Instruments, for whom we are the UK distributor. Standards by DH Budenberg, SI Barnet and Ametek are also catered for.
