We understand your applications and know how to make vacuum, pressure and gas flow work the way you need it to. Listed below are some examples of specific applications that we have filled:
	Graphite Sample Diffusivity The DCS-100 is a system we built specifically for university research into the diffusivity of graphite. It controls the flow of two different gases, one by each end of a graphite sample, as well as precisely controlling the minute differential pressure across the sample. The passed gases are then applied to a GC for analysis of gas content,as a measure of the samples diffusivity.
Leak Rate Monitors Pictured to the right is a portable, battery operated positive pressure leak rate tester with two flow ranges. Other variations are available including a negative pressure version with on-board vacuum pump.
Filter Permeability / Porosity Control the flow through the filter and measure the resultant differential pressure, or control the differential pressure across the sample and measure the resultant flow. Either way your product is quickly tested or characterised.	Fabric Permeability Infant pillows and blankets are tested for compliance with British Standards by generating airflow across a sample to simulate a baby’s breathing. The resultant differential pressure developed, or what would be the resistance to breathing,determines if the sample passes.
Weather Permeability Windows, doors, vents and even cavity wall insulation are tested by pressurising one side to simulate wind gusts. We supply both new control systems and upgrade modules for existing systems to automate testing, and bring compliance with the new European Standards.
